The Monroe County Bar Foundation offers scholarships each year to graduating seniors who are furthering their education.
Students from the four Monroe County Public Schools may apply for the general scholarship. Click here for general scholarship guidelines. The application for the graduating class of 2024 can be found here and must be submitted no later than March 29, 2024.

June 2021 - Students and their families joined Chairman William Reaser and Vice Chaiman Thomas Casale as they awarded $11,000 in scholarships to local college bound students.
In honor of the late Judge Ronald E. Vican, the Foundation awarded a $1,000 scholarship to Isabella Horvath from Pocono Mountain East High School. Ms. Horvath will be attending Bloomsburg University to pursue a degree in nursing.
The Foundation also awarded Kate Briegel from East Stroudsburg South, Pocono Mountain East's Dominick Genovese, Theresa Harding from East Stroudsburg North, Tyler Moore from Pleasant Valley and Pocono Mountain West's Paulina Tes each with $2,000 in support of their career paths. Students will be furthering their education at colleges and universities including American University, Ursinus College, Northampton Community College and Wesleyan University. Areas of concentration ranges from economics, government, law, business and political science.
